Great quality and comfortable. Not too thick so as to interfere with getting your shoes on. I only bought the one pair as part of my prince Charlie outfit, but I'll definitely be buying some more and in different colours for when I'm going casual. These are great socks, but after a while they began to lower. When I took em off they looked like the were stretched beyond use. But when I took em out of the washer, they were back there original size. Pretty cool. eSKe 15/11/2008

These do everything they need to do. They are well knitted and have plenty of length to them. very comfy, i have no recolection of any itching. If you are shorter than 5-8 though, you might find yourself double folding them near the top to hide the extra fabric. joseph mcclain 09/04/2007

I have found that the legs and feet need a lot more attention than we often give them, with or without a kilt. These hose are a great value. Good solid chunky hose with a very soft feel - the composition of the material isn't stated on the pack, but it feels less 'scratchy' than other big-brand-name hose I've purchased elsewhere.
