This is an outstanding accent to any kilt dress. Please note, the web picture doesn't give the detail justice... it's even better than the picture. I did find the fit to my belt a bit sloppy due to the size of the slide. HOWEVER, belt thicknesses do vary, and a velcro tab on the back solved the problem easily. I highly recommend this buckle... take pride in your Scottish hertiage! Greye 05/08/2008

This buckle is big as would be expected and a bit heavier than i thought it would be. The clan crest is merely a separate pin that they insert into the buckle once you order. It can rattle if loose (easily fixable). The nice thing though, is you can take out the pin and use it as a brooch if your going more formal and not using the belt. joseph mcclain 09/04/2007

Very dissapointed with the way my new Belt buckle came apart on it's first outing.These buckles are only a back plate with a brooch in the centre. Before you wear it , do what I have done and buy yourself a good quality adhesive an d glue the belt centre on. Jim_10014408 06/01/2006
