Tartan Design Competition

19th April - 19th May 2017

Win a weekend for two in Krakow

The Scottish Polish Cultural Association cordially invites the people of Edinburgh to take part in an online competition to design a tartan for the City of Krakow.
The winner of the competition will be selected by the people of Krakow, who will vote for their favourite pattern in June 2017.
The main prize is a weekend in Krakow for two (including flights, accommodation and free entry to the City's main attractions) sponsored by Krakow City Council and the Scottish Polish Cultural Association.
The winning design will be woven into fabric and presented to a representative of Krakow in September 2017.
There are no age or nationality limits for the contestants.
The competition is a part of the Scottish Polish Tartan Festival: Scottish Tartan for Krakow which celebrates the cultural partnership between the Cities of Edinburgh and Krakow.
The Scottish Polish Tartan Festival: Scottish Tartan for Krakow is organised by the Scottish Polish Cultural Association in collaboration with the City of Edinburgh Council, Krakow City Council, the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Edinburgh, DC Dalgliesh, Scotweb.co.uk, the Polish Cultural Festival Association and the Polish Society at the University of Edinburgh.
