Saving tartan designs
Your designs will be temporarily saved automatically during your visit (unless you've disabled computer ‘cookies’.) However, if you begin a new design, any earlier work will be lost.
Saving tartan designs
You can save as many designs as you wish in your (free) Member's account. If you don't have an account already, you can set one up while saving your design. Just follow the simple instructions. As with most web sites, you need to confirm your email address before your account will be active.
Terms & conditions
To save your tartan design in our systems, you have to accept our Terms & Conditions, both for the Tartan Designer and for our site in general. We think they're entirely reasonable and there simply to protect you and us from possible abuses. They're written in reasonably clear English, so no need to worry about small print. But if you don't think they're fair, there is other Tartan Design software available... it's just not as good.
Finding & loading your saved designs
Once you've saved one or more designs in our systems, you'll find them in your own personal Member's Gallery. At the moment this is accessed only via the Tartan Designer main menu (which should be open when you first arrive). In due course we'll be adding it to your member's account area.
