What Inspired the Design? The colors were inspired by a trip from Cloverdale out to the coast along S.R. 128 then back inland to U.S. 101 along S.R. 20.
Why did you choose these colours?

Muted Yellow
Gold for the dry interior valley grasses of summer.

Bottle Green
One of the two greens chosen for the madrone, redwood, oak, and fir trees of the coastal mountain and valley forests.

Azure Blue
Blue for the bright summer skies of the interior and the fall and spring sea.

Old Green
Second green chosen for the forest colors.

Morning Grey
The color of the summer fogs and winter storms.
