Brown Heath

Design ID: 20458

Title
(Provisional)
Brown Heath
Designed By Amble
Brief Description This name is taken from Sir Walter Scott's poem, "The Lay of the Last Minstrel" (canto VI, st. 2) which goes as follows: Caledonia! stern and wild, Meet nurse for a poetic child! Land of brown heath and shaggy wood, Land of the mountain and the flood, Land of my sires! what mortal hand Can e'er untie the filial band, That knits me to thy rugged strand! - [Scotland] He wrote this in 1805. I hope this design does his beautiful poem justice.
