| Brief Description | A more "golden" variant of the Kerr Christmas tartan | |
| What Inspired the Design? | I changed the customary black thread of the Kerr Modern Red tartan to white in my first attempt to create a "dress" Kerr tartan -- and it looked AWFUL. I later added some gold thread to create "Kerr Christmas #1". Then it occurred to me that GOLD might look better than white and this became "Kerr Christmas #2". | |

Now as a CHRISTMAS tartan, instead of a "dress" tartan, I would rate it a 5 instead of a 2 ... but that's just me.

As my first attempt at tartan design, I would now rate this a POOR attempt at a formal dress tartan, but I used it to create a "Kerr Christmas" tartan that I really like, so I'm glad I did it.

In trying to create a more formal version of the Kerr Modern tartan it seems I may have inadvertently created a Kerr Christmas tartan instead!
