William Scott sporrans are all made by hand, with the third generation of the family now producing the traditional and innovative designs for which the firm is known.
William Scott uses only the finest quality materials, with their distinctively robust leatherwork standing out from the deluge of shoddy copycat designs sold by disreputable 'tartan tat' merchants. William Scott is an outspoken critic of companies who plunder his original designs and import inferior quality lookalikes with misleading descriptions, accusing the culprits by name. If you prefer a beautifully hand-made sporran that will give pleasure for decades, whilst supporting the survival of this historic industry and its artisan skills, you'll find no finer sporran in the world.
