Ortak Jewellery

Ortak was the first of the dozen or so fine jewellery firms for which the Orkney Islands are now renowned. In fact many of these newer competitors (in truth, a friendly rivalry) have been set up by ex-Ortak employees. Ortak Jewellery's success is based upon its early principles which are still held today - innovative design, caring craftsmanship, impeccable quality and real value for money. The traditional skills of the silversmith, handed down over decades, are still in use in their state of the art workshops. The manufacturing base remains in the island's capital, the Royal and Ancient Burgh of Kirkwall, producing beautiful jewellery which is sold and admired worldwide.
