I always find that cotton clothing manufactured in Canada (sadly, an increasingly rare commodity) is the heaviest weight, and by far the highest quality, available. In second place would be garments made in the USA, followed by those from Latin America. Cotton of Irish or Scottish production is generally of good quality, but small fitting and lightweight by North American standards. That said, this is a serviceable shirt. The packing does not indicate whether it is indeed from Scotland, or if it is imported from Asia. However, it is a suitable poly cotton blend. I have washed it once, and the shirt survived just fine! I also think its light weight is a bonus under the heavy Argyll jacket, but be warned, those of us who are closer to our simian ancestors will need to wear an under vest! One convenience is that while the shirt does have French cuffs (i.e., requiring cufflinks), the bib has hidden buttons, meaning it is not necessary to buy a set of tuxedo studs.

Shirt looks nice, nothing necessarily special about it. It will work, but, the convenience of one stop shopping made it easy.

Good quality shirt at a reasonable price. Unfortunately I need a large collar size and to achieve this the chest size comes in as what can only be described as massive.

Yet another product of exquisite quality offered by Scotweb! This shirt looks very nice and it's comfortable too. Add a great ruch tie with that and really stand out from the crowd! the women love me in this shirt. Very nice!

this shirt washes and wears well. It is comfortable to wear and never binds. The quality is worth far more than the price.
