Still loving my pipes, they look great and sound just as good. Still having a problem getting it to the B flat that our pipe band uses, I get a great A right off the bat but have to really tweak it to get the b flat. Other than that I love them. If anyone out there has a great tip on getting the B flat I'm open to suggestions as I now hemp it and raise it as much as possible, wet the reed, bend it, and well... I can get it but it doesn't last long and by the next practice I'm doing it all over again.
Send any thing you can help with. Now using the Clanrye reeds seems better but...

thank you again.

I received my long waited pipes yesterday and fired them up as soon as I got my reed from my other pipes. Here's a quote from my purchase:
"African Blackwood- Fully Combed and Beaded. Complete with synthetic zipper pipe bag, corded bag cover, silk pipe cords and Ezeedrone reeds. Supplied with a standard-sized bag (enquire about alternatives) and with a free reed from McCallums!"
so where's my "free reed" or was that talking about the drone reeds.
Either way I love them. They look great and sound fantastic. Well worth the wait, and I'm so glad that they came in time for the weekend gigs that I have. I'll send a photo as soon as I get one.
