To anyone who is taking up the great highland bagpipes I highly recommend purchasing a set of McCallum Bagpipes. McCallum's are the sweetest sounding bagpipes that you can ever purchase. Their sweet chanter sound will make anyone who usually dislikes hearing the bagpipes want to hear them played again and again. Scotweb's service was excellent and they even answered all of my questions concerning the bagpipes I give these bagpipes a great and two thumbs up!

This set is a very nice set and well worth the money. The drone shafts are beautiful. The chanter is all that was expected. I even checked the bag for leaks, and it's as tight as whistle. I had to wait a couple of months after ordering, but the wait was worth it.

A WONDERFUL set for the price! nice tones, the bag has just the right consistancy, not to hard, not to soft. the overall assembly was quick and easy. all i did was pop in the drones and the reeds (not in that order) and play. my only problem, which was big, was them actually getting here. possibly one of the top five most frustrating things in my life, that took ten weeks from the day i ordered them. the pipes are great (now that actually have them)! [EDITOR'S NOTE: we regret the recent delays with this maker, due to external factors; we are now back to a normal delivery schedule. As always, we do our best to keep customers in touch with any delays, and understand the frustration!]

These pipes are absolutely beautiful. I have just received mine and my instructor was very impressed as well as everyone else who saw them. And the sound quality is amazing, my band was blown away. scotsweb was very helpful with the delays on my pipes due to a management upheavel. It was worth the wait, all in all words don't do this set justice

Awesome serivce!!! Every question and concern was professionally handled.
As for the product I had no doubts. McCallum pipes are amoung the finest world class higland bagpipes made. My set exceeded every expectation. The sound quality is awesome and the workmanship is breath taking.
And Scotwebs prices can not be matched!!!! For sure not in the U.S.

I just received my new set of pipes earlier this week - and I couldn't be happier! This set is beautiful and everyone in my pipe band last night was extremely impressed (and I didn't even tell them the fantastic price!). I had some questions and special requests that the staff had no problem (or additional cost) accommodating. Even the shipping only took a couple of days to get here, and it was trackable. The set came with hemp already tied on, bag attached, and ready to just attach the drones and play which defenitely makes things easier! The only thing to be aware of is that the pipes do not come with a chanter reed, so you will have to purchase one seperately. [SCOTWEB EDITOR'S NOTE: we do now include a free reed with the purchase.] I will defenitely be purchasing from The Bagpipes Store in the future. Thank you for the fantastic set of pipes!
