We weave your pure new wool material to order (which is how we can supply even single kilt lengths) at our own small traditional weavers deep in the Scottish borders. This robust fabric is ideal not just for kiltmaking (yes, it's got a proper kilting selvedge) but also for upholstery, and anywhere you'd want a really hardy finish. Can I point out that because many tartans are rarely woven, a lot of these images are computer generated... so the pattern and broad colours you see should be right, but the shades our expert weavers actually use to create something traditional and beautiful for you may not be exactly what the computer chose. But you can be sure it will be traditionally correct, and simply lovely.
