Description
Every Manley Richardson kilt is expertly hand-stitched by the finest kiltmakers. Your kilt will be made from around 8 yards of fabric from only the finest Scottish mills, though actual length will vary by your personal fitting and your selected tartan pattern (on which the tailor will base the pleating arrangement).
Two leather straps on the waist, and one on the hip, are each made from premium leather in a choice of colours to suit the material, subtly embossed with the Manley Richardson monogram. Select from two uniquely designed high-grade buckles, for a more traditional or a more contemporary look; each is available in various finishes.
The front edge has two fringes, and two belt (or sporran strap) loops constructed from your chosen tartan are stoutly sewn to the rear.

We try to make our site easy to use, even for a complex purchase like a kilt outfit. No membership is necessary. And we deliver worldwide.
The basic process is explained below. But if you find it hard for any reason, just contact us and we will be happy to either advise you or else place your order for you. (Calls from the UK or North America are free!)
We divide the buying process into two main stages:
1. Select products & Add to Basket
- Find your product
- Optional: specify fabric, sizes, etc.(Choose Options button, top right)
- Add item to your Basket (Add to Basket button, top right)
- (Repeat, to add more items)
- Adjust quantities in Shopping Basket (if required)
2. From Basket, proceed to Check Out
- Go to the Checkout (Checkout Now button, in Basket)
- Specify Delivery Address and Shipping Method
- Specify Payment details
- Confirm

Took a wee bit longer than thought, but then i did have it fully hand stiched. But got it in time for my wedding and i was very pleased with the outcome. fitted perfectly, looks superb on also love the MR details. I do have a small problem with the buckle though, i had the contemporary silver buckes and found when i wore it for a Burns supper the locking clip seems to be damaged, I have wore this kilt about 10 times over the past 7 months and hope the aftersales are as good as the other items i have bought. I highly recommend Manly Richardson for your outfitting needs. Stan , TN

This looks even better in real life!!! Having chosen a kilt outfit for our wedding, I almost upstaged my wife. Not a thing you want to do at 'her' wedding. But still, it says enough about the kilt ;)

I purchased this item in 2005 and it has become my kilt of choice. I've taken it on international trips and it travels well. It is versatile enough to wear with Jacobite regalia for fun, or with the Crail outfit for business. In this case, you get what you pay for!

Ladies!If your husband has hinted at a kilt as a present THIS is the one he wants, trust me! Gentlemen! If you want to feel like a million dollars and you can handle gratuitous compliments from total strangers look no further. I am so pleased with this kilt that I have another on the way.
