This smaller version of our traditional kilt is perfect for dressing your child in real highland style. Made to the same pattern as our traditional kilt but in a lighter fabric to keep your child comfortable as well as stylish.
Cut and sewn in perfect miniature, this kilt is sized for your child's measurements. This kilt comes with the traditional leather straps and is pleated for great movement and swing. The elasticated waist allows for growth so this can be a favourite for years.

Super! We were looking for kilts in the family tartan for the wee lads, and these were the best deal. These aren't meant to match the standard of a top-of-the-line men's 8 yard kilt (not fully lined, elastic waist, not quite pleated to sett). But for the money (and considering the lads will grow out of them in short order), these are perfectly nice kilts, in whatever size you need, in whatever tartan you need. One additional thing to be aware of - these kilts don't come with a kilt pin (not even the plain diaper-type pin), so you'll need to add that.

Utterly brilliant. Arrived at midday, exactly on the day SW said it'd be here. Fitted perfectly, and it matched the adult kilt I'd ordered at the same time - which was a relief, given that there can be so much variation between different fabrics. Interestingly, the boy's plaid is exactly the same except 30% smaller than the adult pattern, so they look even better together than I'd expected. It is a truly excellent garment. My son has never worn a kilt before - he's still wearing it now - so far he's only taken it off to go to bed...

We purchases the Children's kilt for our teenage daughter (she is petite) and it looks and fits great. She can wear it as a skirt with a special meaning. The price was great and it will always remind us of our trip to Scotland.

My son (age 5) loves his kilt. We bought it a little big so he could grow into it. He has had almost two years of wear from it, and it still looks brand new. It looks so nice he even asked to have his school pictures in it.
