Worn by armies around the world the instantly recognisable Glengarry hat will add instant military chic to your fully formal highland outfit.

The Glengarry is said to be adapted from the original Highlander's hat, the Balmoral, by being folded and creased down the middle. The Glengarry was worn by every regiment in the British Army apart from the Black Watch who wore the original Balmoral.

The ribbons on the headband were originally used to secure the hat but are now left to hang for decoration. On the left side of the Glengarry is a black ribbon, ideal for attaching your Clan Badge and displaying your pride in your heritage.

We divide the buying process into two main stages:
