its a goog set of drone reeds, what else can i say. and there at a reasonable price. and the sound is great , it might be a synthetic seet, but the sound that my teacher had is his pipes the base was just tarific and recomended them for my pipes. Right now i have bambo reeds and they suck they work when they want to but not for long
and when i was playing on my teachers pipes they were as i said tarific. and when i can im going to get me a set. and it will be awsome(and i can throw away my old ones)

I've always been reluctant to play synthetic drone reeds because cane reeds sound far superior to synthetics. When these reeds came out claiming to recreate the sound of cane, I was a huge skeptic, but was willing to give them a try. After a few minor adjustments, I put them in my McCallum pipes and fired them up. I was amazed at the tonal quality of these reeds. The tenors are alive and exciting, and the bass is deep and rich. I can't tell the difference between these and my cane reeds, and some people even say they sound better with the Canning reeds than they did with the cane reeds (I guess due to the superior stability of the Cannings). These are, in my honest opinion, the ultimate drone reed.
