Ladies Crew Neck Shetland Cardigan With Pockets in 8 colours
I just received my beautiful Ladies Crew Neck Shetland Cardigan in Mist today. It is exactly as the pictures show, even the mist color. My cardigan is gorgeous and I'm thrilled with it. The details, the knitting, everything about this cardigan is exceptional. The cardigan is light weight and very soft and warm. It's perfect for those few cold days in the middle of winter here in Southwest Florida. My total experience with Scotweb has been fantastic. After I placed my order, I decided to change my shipping method. I sent an email requesting the change and received confirmation back the next day. I will not hesitate to order again in the future. Hand-Knitted Luxury Ladies Aran Cardigan "Ness" in 24 colours
I finally received my cardigan on September 28. It was ordered in June. I will say it is beautiful and have provided a picture. The quality is wonderful. The down side is the wait. I was told that somehow my order was overlooked. I had to contact the company to get some status update. I appreciate the workmanship involved but I was disappointed in the overall service in trying to obtain the product. It may have been one of those things. Hand-Knitted Luxury Aran Kilt Hose in 24 colours
When I ordered these kilt hose I prepared myself for a wait, since they are hand made. This is my third pair and , as before, the wait was well worth it. In fact, I was pleased to see that Mrs. MacKenzie, who had knitted one of my other pair, is still alive and kicking (if you order these you will see that each pair of hose is signed by the knitter,...showing it's authenticity as a hand knitted item). Once you order & receive this item, you are not going to want to wear anything else. Sure, you may want some regular kilt hose for those unimportant, "knock-around-in my-casual-kilt" days, but these kilt hose can transform even a casual kilt into something that makes you look even better. Whenever I've worn them I've always had complimentary comments addressed to me,....by men, as well as women. The cable stitching adds something to the line of the leg. I'm not ashamed to admit it: It makes me feel good when people stare, and those brave enough to ask "WOW!! Where did you get those??? Those are really nice." That's when I go into my little "hand knitted,....SCOTSWEB,.....expensive but worth every penny" speech. Just remember to "hand wash" (I use WOOL LITE), wring the water out GENTLY & dry flat (I use a sweater dryer, but I guess you can hang dry them). If you take care of them they WILL last for years. Child's Casual Kilt
Super! We were looking for kilts in the family tartan for the wee lads, and these were the best deal. These aren't meant to match the standard of a top-of-the-line men's 8 yard kilt (not fully lined, elastic waist, not quite pleated to sett). But for the money (and considering the lads will grow out of them in short order), these are perfectly nice kilts, in whatever size you need, in whatever tartan you need. One additional thing to be aware of - these kilts don't come with a kilt pin (not even the plain diaper-type pin), so you'll need to add that. Review date: 2009-09-23 |
