This is one of the best pieces of clothing I have ever purchased. I have been trying for years to find my family tartan (Pearson), so when I saw that Scotweb had it, I just had to order it. At first I was a little worried about ordering something so important sight unseen, but I am here to say that the quality, speed, and attention to detail is excellent. I would definitely recommend Scotweb to anyone looking to purchase a kilt.

For my 8yd Traditional Kit, I chose the 16oz "Strome Select" fabric from Locharron, in Buchanan (Modern Colors). I could not be more delighted with the fabric, and the construction of the kilt is absolutely top-notch. Coupled with Scotweb's first-rate customer service, I could not be more pleased.

Great product, especially for the price. I ordered mine in the Lindsay Ancient tartan, and am very pleased both with the fabric, and the attention to detail in the kilt.

An amazing product, well finished, every attention to detail has been paid. Stitching is beautiful and well finished, a very high quality garment that will not disappoint anyone that orders.....in fact I'm buying several more!!! Buckles and straps are very solid, kilt belt loops are strong and blend perfectly with the rest of the kilt, front apron is very well finished on the end with slight fringing at the very edge to add that extra attention to detail. Ordered mine in the MacDonald Ancient in material from Lochcarron and the colours are just amazing. Knife pleats are well defined and very very deep giving the kilt a beautiful swing just walking, let alone dancing!! Wore it for the first time to a wedding and received compliments all night long Don't hesitate, this is the perfect purchase if you are in the market for a beautifully finished kilt and the most reasonably priced kilt I have seen too...its amazing, you could easily pay two to three times the price elsewhere.

Having purchased a tweed Argyll jacket in Lovett Blue tweed, a friend suggested I consider a tweed kilt as an alternative to tartan. The Cairngorme Overcheck Twill Blue seemed the ideal companion and I am delighted that this has proved spot on. The measurements are perfect and equate exactly to my order (a somewhat rare aspect in mail order). As a heavy-weight kilt, the fit and swing are excellent and the manufacture first class. The weather may now be getting too hot for tweed but this kilt/outfit will be perfect as an alternative to tartan for years to come. As an aside, for reasons beyond Scotweb's control delivery was delayed by several weeks. Nevertheless, the company's regular updates were very professional and good customer service.

Very, very great kilt in Brittany National tartan. ( Yes, Bretons wear the kilt!). Heavy(15oz) with a good swing and very good finishing. I bought it for my wedding and everybody found it great and smart. Easy to order and to take measurement on the web site. An excellent fit, very good quality and really comfortable to wear looks and feels great especially when walking down the street. If you want to dress to impress this is the way to do it. The only drawback is the weather i was at an outdoor event and yes the heavens opened. At least the rain kept off for the walk to and from the hotel.

It's a truly beautifully made garment, affordable and quick delivery. The only thing I'd say is be careful when measuring. I used the help video and erred on the side of short (as I got the impression from the video that long was really bad). However now I wish my kilt was an inch, maybe two longer. It sits about half an inch lower than I'd like, and lies just on the kneecap rather than halfway down.
