Tweed Argyll Jacket

Andrew S, Yass, NSW Australia (01 July '10)

Wrote... Once again, one cannot but applaud the value, attention to detail and customer service offered by your company. Even though "off the peg", my new Lovatt Blue Argyll is not only a perfect complement to my black formal one but hangs as well as one that was tailored to fit. Style, craftmanship and finish are first rate with no poor threading or loose threads in the tweed. Mine has the darker buttons, which I prefer, and the short, military back, is great when driving; no coat tails to crush when one sits. With the Australian winter, it is becoming a trusted companion (along with my tweed jackets)and has been worn with three kilts, dress trews and more casual slacks. Under garments have included Jacobite shirts, polo shirts and business shirts with and without ties. With each it has presented well and been commented upon favourably. I suspect it will be coming to Scotland with me in August. As good as the jacket, so, too, the speed at which it arrived at home in central New South Wales. So, again, my thanks. Another first-class item, backed by first-class service. Andrew Stackpool

Classic Kilt Hanger

Richard Krehbiel, British Columbia, CA (29 June '10)

Wrote... I thought this item might have been reviewed enough ... I mean, it's a great product but how much can you really say about a hanger! But I recently had occasion to pack a kilt for several days on the road, and can say the hanger is of a size that packs nicely in the carrier and adds very little weight while making a tremendous contribution to keeping the garment in shape in hotel rooms.

Casual Kilt

Richard Krehbiel, British Columbia, CA (29 June '10)

Wrote... I wasn't sure I really needed this kilt but after several wearings I'm thoroughly pleased. It's very comfortable on warm days and is my preferred travelling kilt because it holds up nicely in the roll-up carrier and minimizes weight.

'Edinburgh' Cape, with matching scarf

Richard Krehbiel, British Columbia, CA (29 June '10)

Wrote... I bought this item for my teenage daughter, and when she's happy, I'm happy. Obviously it will only be worn for Burn's night and occasional family events, for which it matches one of my kilts very nicely. It will last a lifetime and of course, we're both happy!

Tweed Crail Jacket

Richard Krehbiel, British Columbia, CA (29 June '10)

Wrote... I ordered this as a more business-like alternative to an Argyle jacket and waistcoat, and am completely satisfied. The fit is exact and comfortable and the look is very professional. It's become my preferred outfit for most "kiltable" occasions.

Glencairn Whisky Glasses and Jug

Richard Krehbiel, British Columbia, CA (29 June '10)

Wrote... A very nice set, simple and elegant. The glasses meet the standard and add a touch more seriousness to the tasting. The pitcher is solid and adds a formal touch to the experience. Together, entirely deserving of the finest!

Hand Knitted Luxury Aran Sweater 'Torridon'

Richard Krehbiel, British Columbia, CA (29 June '10)

Wrote... Outstanding! I purchased the Torridon in gritstone and had a couple occasions to wear it this spring. It's a perfect fit, light in weight but incredibly warm and very comfortable. It's hard to imagine anyone in this day and age hand knitting such a functional and intricate garment, but thank you wherever you are.

Tartan Fabric

McMurdo Clan (24 June '10)

Wrote... I was so excited to get this fabric. I wanted to make a sling for the baby we were expecting so that carrying her around at Highland games and elsewhere would be more comfortable (and stylish!) I'm pregnant in the picture so my two-year-old is helping model it.

Wrote... I purchased this to go with my tartan sash and it really looks great! Kilt pins just aren't for kilts. It adds real character to my tartan and the craftsmanship is good too. Customer service was wonderful and I was able to get my order shipped to the US rather quickly. I received it within two weeks with the rest of my purchase.
