Above and beyond my expectations. The quality of the fabric is wonderful, and the craftsmanship is also quite excellent. The kilt fits comfortably, has the right swing and sway to it and you'd really have to be an expert to even tell that its a five-yard and not an eight yard kilt. Perfect for summer weddings, dressed up with a vest and coat or dressed down with just a plain solid color t-shirt. Will definitely be ordering again.

We purchased 3 of these shirts for the men to wear at our wedding in November 2010 (as shown in the photograph). Everyone commented on how unusual and smart they were. None of the men were keen to wear the Jacobite shirts with laced up front and were happy with these as an alternative. The shirts wash well and will be taken on another outing this Friday evening (20/4/12).

Ordered 4 metres of 13 oz House of Edgar MacFadyen modern tartan. Took a bit because ScotWeb had to special order the fabric to be made at the mill. The colors are bright and beautiful and the sett is exactly as registered. Also, one full edge had the traditional selvedge. The customer service was great for this difficult order. Order took about 4 months but it was well worth the wait. You won't be disappointed in the high quality. One thing I might mention, is that this flat cap is more like the a County cap (or Golfer's tartan hat) style than a true "driver's" flat cap. If you're used to wearing the more traditional, less bulky flat caps, this might look odd when you first try on. So visually, it might take getting used to. But from the sides and back it still looks like a normal flat cap, just slightly a little bulkier looking from the front. The bill does not tilt up like it appears on the product sample image model. And the elastic "one size fits all" band is very comfortable. Does not feel tight yet feels like it would stay put on windy days. Very lightweight too which is nice. It was nice that the tartan chosen was small enough to not overwhelm the tartan look. Some tartan sets are so huge that it's almost clown-like. Very well padded (something most flat caps don't have from my experience.)

For my 8yd Traditional Kit, I chose the 16oz "Strome Select" fabric from Locharron, in Buchanan (Modern Colors). I could not be more delighted with the fabric, and the construction of the kilt is absolutely top-notch. Coupled with Scotweb's first-rate customer service, I could not be more pleased.

I honestly never expect much from the "budget" line of products from any company, but again, I was pleasantly surprised. These were much thicker than I expected, and they look great. I would not hesitate to buy again.

Ordered this for the finale of my recent wedding ceremony, put on my new wife right before the presentation. Looked great over her dress, and was long enough to put on her already pinned together. I didn't muss a single hair :-)

Was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. It had more weight than I expected (a good thing) and the detail was very clear. Works equally for flies, shawls, cloaks, and anything else that might need pinned together.

I am very happy with this vest. It is extremely well made, and looks great with a kilt, dress pants, or blue jeans. It is a very versatile garment.
