I ordered both Black Watch and Oakleigh tartans in 11 oz poly viscose to make lightweight, hypoallergenic kilts, and, overall, was quite pleased with the fabric. While this material is not as easy to work with as heavy weight wool in my opinion, it does seem to hold a pleat sufficiently well, and the pleats swing freely. My only regret is that I didn't order more of the Oakleigh tartan as my wife and daughter both love it. I highly recommend this material for anyone who has sensitive skin, or who wants a lightweight, washable kilt, or other garment to knock about in.

This sporran is absolutely amazing and very beautifully made! I ordered mine in red fox which just compliments my kilt perfectly at night. The inside is very roomy for wallet, phone, and a good sized hip flask (6oz) plus keys and maybe a pen and paper. It has a useful little slot for a credit card or business cards etc. Honestly its so nice I'm considering wearing this for my wedding! It doesn't get any better than that! The only reason I might not is Scotweb have another white mink sporran thats currently competing..... just shows how good their products are - I have trouble choosing between them!

The argyll jacket in black barathea is a very well made jacket, the stitching is beautifully done, the buttons are perfect, all pockets are actual functional pockets with inside pockets also and the braiding on the epaulettes is very neat and well finished. I honestly could not ask for more, often, looking at highland dress in a country other than Scotland I come across some shabby, poorly finished garments - this one is perfect. Wore it to a formal function and found that my jacket was more beautifully finished than many of the expensive suit jackets being worn - well done Scotweb, a truly first class product at great price! Also, for those worried about sizing, don't be! I'm a big guy, I measured as instructed and the jacket fits as well as one made by a local tailor.

This Sgian Dubh comes in a beautiful presentation box and is every bit as well finished and fitted as the website images suggest. For those of you concerned about having a 'knife' in your sock, the blade as it comes is about as blunt as a letter opener and you will not have any problems getting this through customs - it is a one sided blade and not a 'dagger' which might be a problem for Australian Customs. Blade to sheaf fit is nice and secure/tight. I got mine with an amethyst stone and the stone and fitting holding the stone look beautiful - it really completes my formal dress.

An amazing product, well finished, every attention to detail has been paid. Stitching is beautiful and well finished, a very high quality garment that will not disappoint anyone that orders.....in fact I'm buying several more!!! Buckles and straps are very solid, kilt belt loops are strong and blend perfectly with the rest of the kilt, front apron is very well finished on the end with slight fringing at the very edge to add that extra attention to detail. Ordered mine in the MacDonald Ancient in material from Lochcarron and the colours are just amazing. Knife pleats are well defined and very very deep giving the kilt a beautiful swing just walking, let alone dancing!! Wore it for the first time to a wedding and received compliments all night long Don't hesitate, this is the perfect purchase if you are in the market for a beautifully finished kilt and the most reasonably priced kilt I have seen too...its amazing, you could easily pay two to three times the price elsewhere.

My in-laws are renewing their vows on their 40th anniversary. They want a Scottish theme and have left it to my sister-in-law and I to plan everything. I found Scotweb when I googled "tartan tablecloth". I just received my order last Friday. All I have to say "It is BEAUTIFUL". My in-laws haven't seen it yet since we want to keep everything a surprise until the day of. But I know with no doubt that they will love it as much as my sister-in-law and I do. I live in the USA, so if you want to order a tablecloth or runner and it is custom made order it 2-3 months before your event. I placed my order early Sept, received it on Oct 7th(with priority shipping) and the event is on Nov 12, 2011. I will for sure post a picture.
