This Aran sweater is an absolute delight! The quality of the wool is extremely good - proper new wool, but at the same time, soft enough that my 5-year old son doesn't find it too scratchy - while the design is a timeless classic, practical but also very good-looking. We've already had one neighbour ask whether my son's grandmother knit it for him!
Meanwhile, I am astonished that it's possible to purchase such an 'heirloom' - handmade in Britain - at such an affordable price. Please consider this item very highly recommended.
