My first reaction was mild disappointment, because the cuff links only display a small portion of the tartan that is not clearly identifiable as "Kerr" tartan. I think I had expected them to be a miniaturized version of the entire sett of the tartan -- which would have been impossible. But as I examined them further and held them up next to my kilt, I realized that they are PERFECT. Had they been the entire sett they would have been gaudy little trinkets. Instead, they are elegantly understated -- as is appropriate for formal wear -- show excellent workmanship and detail, and match my kilt perfectly.

The SCOTWEB return service is efficient - however I had to pay over $10.00 postage to return them for repair. (The cufflinks are worth about $16.00)SO together with original postage I have paid about $35.00 for a set of farily ordinary cufflinks.
