This is my third Argyll vest. It was in clearance in an uncommon forest green colour. These vests are very versatile and can be used with different attires. I wore it last Christmas with my barleycorn green tweed jacket and looked just perfect.

Excellent quality. Fits perfectly. For anyone wondering how this stock size vest fits, here are the details. I am 5'10" tall and my chest measures 48" over a shirt and am long waisted. (long torso) I ordered a size 50 long and the fit is just right.

It fits wonderfully and looks great. The only reason it doesn't get a full 5 is because there's barely any thread holding the buttons on the vest. I lost two buttons due to the 3-4 stitches worth of thread used on average until I stitched it on properly myself. [Scotweb note: our records suggest this review relates to an order that was placed a couple of years ago, at which time we had a quality control issue that has since been addressed. Very nice vest. Not some flimsy "add on". Looks great with jacket and straight tie. One thing - I'm 6'1" and ordered a "long" fit. Maybe could have gone with a regular, but it looks great nonetheless.

What a wonderful looking vest. It fit my husband perfectly. I believe I even have him convinced that he can wear it with jeans when a kilt won't suffice. Of course, I don't know when that will be.
