-The finish on this pendant may not scratch or tarnish, but it wears off exposing the brass colored base metal. I thought pewter was a gray color, but what is showing through is definately a brassie color.
-I'm reordering this item hoping that I happened to get an imperfect pendant that happened to slip through the quality control of the manufacturer.
-Clan badges are rather unique here in the States. What one usually sees is a religious medal. People constantly want to hold my pendant for a closer look and I don't want them to see it with the finish worn off: That makes it look very cheap.
