A work of art! I was amazed at the rich purple and green colours of the beautiful thistle, the purity of the Caithness crystal and the way it reflects the light! Wide Fitting Black Ghillie Brogue
These wide fitting shoes are excellent quality. Since I have a broad foot, I thought it would be prudent to try the wide fitting. Good choice! The first time I wore them was to a wedding, 11 hours of standing and dancing. My feet were fine, no blisters, no pain. I am very pleased and look forward to wearing them a whole lot more. Wool-Rich Kilt Hose in 7 colours
I have 2 pairs, the black and the aran(cream), both in a medium. The black are smaller and a bit tighter, but still fit pretty well. The cream are great and feel much longer and stretchier. I think I prefer wearing the black, not so much for the fit, but for the colour. Review date: 2009-10-30 |

The Balmoral Kilt, Traditional 8 Yard Kilt with Flashes
I received my kilt package a full two month's before my wedding. When it arrived it was just what I wanted for my big day. I had a bout with diverticulitis and lost about 18 lbs that month,what a nightmare.I had to find someone in my home town to alter the kilt and coat, I did so and the day I got to where my kilt package was the best day in my life. I got married in the sierra foothills of CA. on a privet lake in May of 09. Thank you for the prompt dispatched, I will be look forward to my next perches of a 8 yard Irish Tipperary Co tartan kilt. Harris Tweed Jacket
Recently, I purchased a Barva jacket by mail order. It replaces two much older Harris Tweed jackets that, sadly, are too now worn to continue service. I was heartened that the size would probably be right, following the purchase of a lighter weight tweed jacket from Scotweb in London. I am absolutely delighted with the new jacket and have found reasons to wear it even though our weather is getting a tad too warm. Its cut, material and timeless style are spot on and it has attrated favourable comments from friends; so much that after trying mine a friend has now ordered one as well. I am also delighted that these new weaves are now available; they are a true testament to Scots craftmanship and tradition. While I may not be able to justify it from a logical point of view, I am toying with purchasing a second one; this time in grey. Well done all concerned. Complete Outfit Carrier in 5 colours
I purchased this complete outfit carrier in 2007 to carry gear to our band activities. It is bottle green, made of good low maintainance, nylon -style material, easy to fill and even easier to carry. I can put my entire kilt and attire in the bag and with the included Kilt Roll (just fantastic, never crumpled)get dressed hassle free. It would be great if it had separate spaces for brogues, however, even though they make the bag a bit bulky, there is space in the bag for them. Overall its great. Review date: 2009-10-22 |
