I think we can all agree that the Buchanan is one of the more, um, shall we say, LOUD, tartans. So what’s a MacDonald – she of the subdued tartan, doing wearing one? Och! The things a woman will do to please her self-titled Laird. One can imagine my delight & relief when I discovered the subdued hues of the Antique Buchanan. The depth & richness of the colours are remarkable & I couldn’t have been more pleased with the quality of the silk. It was a delight working with material of this caliber & the finished skirt invariably occasions comment.
