I have always been fascinated by Scotland and kilts, so when I discovered my family connection to Scotland. the case was clear. I had to buy a kilt. My family name on my mothers side is Bell, and even if its a long way back, I decided it was close enough. A friend of mine directed me to Scotweb, and I ordered an Balmoral traditional 8 yard, in the tartan of Bell of the Borders. And of course; a belt, buckle, sgian dubh, sporran and a kilt pin. While waiting for the kilt the frequent updates and information given by Scotweb kept me abreast of when I could expect to get it. When the kilt arrived, just in time for my wedding, I was pleased beyond words. The feel and look of the kilt was extraordinary and it received quite a lot of positive remarks and attentions, also in online forums like the X Marks the Scot. And after the wedding I have used the kilt on numerous occasions, both at work and for every day wear. And now, I`m wondering if I should not buy one more kilt, and some more accessories....
