This exclusive tartan was designed for Mel Gibson to wear as William Wallace in Braveheart, and is now available for purchase, direct from the traditional mill on Scotland's Isle of Islay

It is made from pure wool, woven on Islay in a small family-owned mill. This mill is very traditional, using two looms that date to Victorian times.

Ideal for home decor, snuggling under or adding some style to your picnics, this rug is the ideal all-rounder that'll be comfortable and stylish, however you choose to use it. The traditional weave is a little less soft than our lambswool throws, but this only adds to its own unique and traditional character.
