The story behind the kilt pin is a rather sweet one and involves Queen Victoria surveying her kilted troops on windy day and sacrificing one of her hat pins to preserve a certain soldier's modesty.
The tradition of wearing a kilt pin, even when its not windy, has stuck. Our set of assorted kilt pins lets you secure your kilt without making your outfit too ostentatious, particularly useful for daytime or casual events.
This set of nappy style pins is also great for securing ladies kilted skirts - long or short. Made from stainless steel so they won't rust, the pins come in a variety of sizes and colours (brass, gold and silver) to suit your outfit and accessories perfectly.
Safety pins have been made cool by punk clothing and fastening these diaper style pins a few inches from the bottom of your kilt or skirt is not only practical, but very fashionable.

We divide the buying process into two main stages:
1. Select products & Add to Basket
- Find your product
- Optional: specify fabric, sizes, etc.(Choose Options button, top right)
- Add item to your Basket (Add to Basket button, top right)
- (Repeat, to add more items)
- Adjust quantities in Shopping Basket (if required)
2. From Basket, proceed to Check Out
- Go to the Checkout (Checkout Now button, in Basket)
- Specify Delivery Address and Shipping Method
- Specify Payment details
- Confirm

This is an excellent set of kilt pins for the price. They come in two sizes and three colors, gold silver and "ancient". The large pins are approx. 7.5cm (3 inches) long whilst the short pins are 6.5 cm (2.5 inches). Quality is just as I expected! My order was shipped the same day as I placed it, and I received the pins the next day (domestic UK shipment, Royal Mail 1st class signed). For reference, the tartan in the picture is MacGregor ancient 16 oz by Lochcarron.
