A 5 yard Casual Kilt or "Sports Kilt" worn in the traditional way, this product is especially made in light weight tartans. Please note that 5 yards is the average used, but may vary according to the tartan sett and your own measurements.
The quality of the tartan fabric and the expert kiltmaking skill that goes into our Casual Kilts is exactly the same as for our renowned full traditional 8 yard kilts, and as with the full kilt there are two straps at the waist for a perfect fit.
The Casual Kilt is cleverly cut to look authentic; the hang and swing is similar, though not quite the same to the experienced eye. Less material makes its lightness ideal for hillwalking, sporting events, or any other activity where a full dress kilt might be a burden.

Wow! What a stunning service! I deliver training on customer service and have been immensely happy with the way the team run their operation.
The Website is easy to navigate, has all the information right there and even when I had to call them from New Zealand to make a specific kilt, it was a doddle! They couldn't have done much better.
All in all this was a grand experience and I got my Quinn kilt yesterday and am so proud of it!

The Prince Charles set arrived today and everything fit my son just perfectly. The tartan was right and the light weight wool is great. This is the second 5yard kilt I have ordered from Scotweb. However, this time it was need for a party and time was short. Scotweb took the order and had the kilt run up, dispatched and delivered within one week! Furthermore, it fitted perfectly.
How is that for service.

Firstly, I would like to say that I was quoted a delivery time of 6 to 8 weeks. The item I ordered arrived in 3!!!
Secondly, I ordered a smaller kilt in a lighter weight fabric for my partner's son, which arrived at the same time. This was ordered in the same Tartan. Unfortuneatly, it was dispatched from a different mill and was therefore a slightly different colout, to my horror. Was Sotweb disheartened by this? No! They pulled the stops out and ordered a new Kilt to be delivered in the very near future. All this within 4 weeks of my initial request.
The customer service and after sales service I have received can only be described as "Second to none".
Thank you Scotweb. Not only have you made good on you promises, but you have also managed to supass your own target dates, enabling us to attend a large family gathering whilst proudly displaying our new Kilts.

I was very pleased with my order. I had received and email letting me know that it would be delayed and I was concerned that I would not have it in time. Much to my surprise and delight, it arrived ahead of even the original date and was exactly as I wanted. As soon as I got it, I tried it on and surprised my wife with it. She was very excited about it, but told me I needed to learn to sit down more carefully. My only dislike was that I thought there was to be a book included, but none was present in the order and I was unaware the shirt came without lacings. Neither of those diminish my complete satisfaction with the product and the company.

I have to say that this kilt has been through everything I can give it and it is going strong. The quality of the material that they use is of the highest grade.
