About this section

A Kilt Pin is a decorative pin used on the lower apron of a kilt. Legend suggests that its usage began in the Victorian era when Queen Victoria used a brooch to preserve the modesty of a soldier wearing a kilt. Whilst this tale suggests that the kilt pin now exists to keep the kilt closed, it is in fact used more as a decorative piece, and is pinned through only one layer of the kilt, not two.

Whatever your style we have a huge range of kilt pins for you to choose from, including our extremely popular clan crest kilt pins. We also have matching accessories such as belt buckles, brooches and sgian dubhs, should you wish to complete the look.
