The basic process is explained below. But if you find it hard for any reason, just contact us and we will be happy to either advise you or else place your order for you. (Calls from the UK or North America are free!)
We divide the buying process into two main stages:
1. Select products & Add to Basket
- Find your product
- Optional: specify fabric, sizes, etc.(Choose Options button, top right)
- Add item to your Basket (Add to Basket button, top right)
- (Repeat, to add more items)
- Adjust quantities in Shopping Basket (if required)
2. From Basket, proceed to Check Out
- Go to the Checkout (Checkout Now button, in Basket)
- Specify Delivery Address and Shipping Method
- Specify Payment details
- Confirm

I received this 5 yard kilt a little while ago. I have to say this quality is beyond my expectation. The sewing is great and it fits so well. i'm really impressed by the skills of the tailors at Manley Richardson. Of course the service provided at this site is excellent too, since I received this shipment much sooner than expected from the shipping date.

Excellent. It's so well knitted. A perfect fit for me. I can really feel the difference between this hand-knitted sweater against the other mass-produced machine made sweater I have. When I ordered these kilt hose I prepared myself for a wait, since they are hand made. This is my third pair and , as before, the wait was well worth it. In fact, I was pleased to see that Mrs. MacKenzie, who had knitted one of my other pair, is still alive and kicking (if you order these you will see that each pair of hose is signed by the knitter,...showing it's authenticity as a hand knitted item). Once you order & receive this item, you are not going to want to wear anything else. Sure, you may want some regular kilt hose for those unimportant, "knock-around-in my-casual-kilt" days, but these kilt hose can transform even a casual kilt into something that makes you look even better. Whenever I've worn them I've always had complimentary comments addressed to me,....by men, as well as women. The cable stitching adds something to the line of the leg. I'm not ashamed to admit it: It makes me feel good when people stare, and those brave enough to ask "WOW!! Where did you get those??? Those are really nice." That's when I go into my little "hand knitted,....SCOTSWEB,.....expensive but worth every penny" speech. Just remember to "hand wash" (I use WOOL LITE), wring the water out GENTLY & dry flat (I use a sweater dryer, but I guess you can hang dry them). If you take care of them they WILL last for years. So,....what are you waiting for???? ORDER THEM!!! You won't be sorry.

Purchased as part of a full kilt outfit. As you can see for yourselves from the photo these hose are substantial ! beautifully crafted and great to wear with the brogues. get a shoe 1 size larger than normal to accommodate them. Mine are the green ones !

I received my order of Tartan Flashes and handmade Aran Kilt Hose in good order. Although it seemed like the order took forever to finally arrive I was swept off my feet with the handmade hose. They are stupendous. They are obviously handmade as slight differences can be discerned, but the workmanship, the abundance of design detail, and the fit are excellant. No machine could produce this tangible link to history. There is even a handwritten card that has the name of the lady that wove the hose and the name of the town in which she lives. I might be tempted to encase these works of art, but I shall wear them proudly at this year's Highland Festival and other such events. Thank you.

Anybody who hangs a kilt needs this hanger. It is easy to use, accommodates the entire kilt, and keeps it hanging neatly. No more messing with make-shift hangers for me. This item is a must for the kilt !

I own five kilts and made my own kilt hangers out of heavy duty coat hangers, yardstick rulers cut down to size, and office binder clips. Although they worked OK, they were a pain in the neck to use, as well as store. A good friend showed me his Kilt Hanger from SCOTWEB. I immediately ordered five. What a difference!!! They are extremely well made with size adjustable holders, and look smart,...but most important THEY DO THE JOB. Now I hang coats on the old hangers, used the yardstick rulers for kindling, and returned the binder clips to my office (shhhh,...don't tell anyone i borrowed office supplies). But you'll tell everyone about SCOTWEB Kilt Hangers. They're great!!!
