Load a friend’s design sent to you

If you have received an email with someone else’s tartan design created on our Tartan Designer, there will be a link in that email, including a special code. In most email programs you can simply click on that link, to open the correct page on our site with their design pre-loaded. If this does not work, you may have to copy that link (in full) and paste it into the address bar of your web browser.

Alternatively you can use the Search facility on the Gallery page of the Tartan Designer to find your friend’s screen name if you know it. You’ll see all the tartan designs they have created and published.

You can then modify this design, and send your modified version back to your friend if you wish. Any changes you make will affect only your own version, and not your friend’s original.
