Keep cosy this winter, or complete a formal outfit with one of our range of hats and caps.

For a casual look, we have a huge range of knitted hats, baseball caps, flat caps and tammies, or for formal outfits we have traditional Balmoral and Glengarry hats.

The Balmoral hat has a proud history in Scottish dress. A modern version of the famous 'blue bonnet' worn by Highlanders, the Balmoral is best worn with fully formal highland dress. The original Balmoral was far more voluminous but the main features remain the same. The puffed top and toorie (or pom pom) give the hat it's striking appearance.

The Glengarry hat is said to have developed when Scottish men began wearing their Balmoral hats creased and folded down the middle. This popular style developed into a whole new hat which is now worn by British army regiments (except the Black Watch guards who wear the original Balmoral).

Both these hats are made from pure new wool and will add a distinctive and traditional finishing touch to your highland outfit.
