Brooches & Pins

Our range of brooches and pins fit a variety of uses, from livening up a plain cardigan to attaching sashes and plaids in a highland outfit. And whilst they all centre around Scottish themes, we have both small and delicate designs as well as chunkier, more masculine items.

Our most popular pins are those which detail a clan crest and these can be supplied in almost any clan name, with a choice of stones. Designed almost like shields, they are made from either pewter or nickel.

We also have a range of other interesting and traditional designs. From penannular horseshoe-shaped pins which were popular hundreds of years ago but are now rarely seen, to luckenbooths, the traditional Scottish wedding brooch given to the bride by the groom on the wedding day, and pinned to the shawl of the first baby to protect it from evil spirits.
